If you've noticed that some written comments on matters of this site shows a picture (avatar) of the author and would like your avatar was demonstrated in his comments also read the following!
By default the Eletrica.info (Ei) system uses the avatar site Ties (it's free).
A brief explanation
The view of the avatars of authors in the blog comments is provided by a service (at least the most famous of them) called Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatar). This site (or service) is designed to be a large database of avatars, or you create an account on Gravatar and inserts an image that represents you in size 80 x 80 pixels. You pay nothing to have a single account on Gravatar.
Some sites, particularly the category of blogs, enable the service Ties in your code, making your Avatar is automatically shown in the comments.
What's the point (for readers)?
Functionally there are many advantages to using Gravatar, but if you're a regular reader of blogs across the network will have its trademark in every comment you make (of course, is the site to enable the function) and more easily identify your comments.
How to get an account on Gravatar
1. Click here and enter your e-mail (your e-mail usual, ie, that you use the inclusion of comments). Enter a password and also confirm the same password.
2. Go to your e-mail, because the Gravatar sent a message. Open the message and click on the link words in the message body.
3. Your account is now created! Click on "upload your avatar now and choose the image you want as an avatar. This step is simple: Click the "Search" or "Search", select the image and click "Upload". The correct would be that the image has a size of 80 x 80 pixels, but if you send a picture of the different size Gravatar automatically convert this file to the correct size, but the image may appear distorted later. You can view it after selecting it.
4. Your avatar is pending. Wait for the staff Gravatar see your avatar and release it. This is done so that inappropriate images are used by the service.
