Aneel approved on Tuesday (08/06) the concessionary tariff review of 20 transmission. As most of the indices was negative, the costs of transmission will be lower from July will benefit consumers in the adjustments and periodic reviews of electricity distributors, because these costs make up the fare.
Of the total number of transmitters, 12 passed the first review. Those in second review and Évrecy (first revision) should have been submitted to the process in June 2009, which did not occur because the methodology was discussed. The financial effects of the delay will be adjusted in July, when Aneel will make the necessary compensation in the process of readjustment of these vectors.
The cases were submitted to public hearings and received contributions from companies and institutions in the sector. The periodic rate review is foreseen in the concession contract and aims to set the Allowed Annual Revenue * to ensure the remuneration of prudent investments aimed at providing the service and to cover cost efficient.
