Filter Pro: Software for design of analog filters (active and passive)

Interface Software FilterPro (Click on image to enlarge)

The design of active and passive filters is vital for modern electronics but its development can be complicated and too time-consuming. The FilterPro is an application to develop low-pass filters, high pass, band pass, band reject, notch. In 1991 the company Burr-Brown released FilterPro that began in the DOS platform, developed by Trump and Bruce R. Mark Stitt. When Texas Instruments in 2000 bought Burr-Brown that software has been updated and written for the Windows platform, a new interface was developed and took the decision to make available to customers. MFB supports filters and Sallen-Key low pass and high pass using feedback , operational amplifiers, resistors and capacitors. It also includes Bessell, Butterworth and Chebychev. Can be used to design filters from 1 to 10 poles. The values of capacitor and resistor in each stage can be selected by the computer or entered by the designer. The response of the filter is displayed in a graph showing gain phase, delay and frequency response.
